A charity is providing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander musicians with a culturally safe space to find support for their mental health and wellbeing.
A dedicated support line for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander musicians has been established by Support Act - a charity delivering crisis relief wellbeing services to those working in the music industry.
The free and confidential mental health service also looks to provide support from Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Clinicians or others with cultural awareness training.
Walpiri Jawoyn and Gurrindji woman and First Nations Community Engagement and Social Worker for Support Act, Cerisa Grant spoke to CAAMA’s Philippe Perez about her roll.
