Simone Kenmore - Working towards reducing avoidable blindness in Aboriginal remote communities

The rising rates of First Nations people working within the field of eye health has been encouraging and will lead to more culturally safe care to communities in the Territory.

That’s according to Yankunytjatjara woman & Country Manager for the Fred Hollows Foundations Indigenous Australia Program Simone Kenmore.

She is speaking as part of the mainly-online National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Eye Health Conference which will also have some face to face activities in Darwin as well.
