Purple House looking to boost food prep skills for First Nations people

A new commercial kitchen built for Alice Springs community health dialysis service Purple House will look to help Aboriginal people develop skills in food preparation, focused on Central Australian bush foods.

The kitchen was funded care of a from Coles and is part of a new social enterprise facility with training opportunities planned to be offered to dialysis patients, their families and residents in remote communities.

The new social enterprise property, set to open soon in Eastside in Alice Springs will look to increase wellbeing for families in the region.
