Central Australian community members and health workers gathered at the Town council lawns on Thursday morning to continue ‘Working Together to Keep Each Other Safe’ as part of World Suicide Prevention Day.

The Mental Health Association of Central Australia (MHACA), in partnership with Central Australian Aboriginal Congress (Congress), National indigenous Australians Agency (NIAA), Drug and Alcohol Services Australia (DASA), and Tangentyere Council hosted the community event to highlight the important role of communities working together.

We hear from from MHACA's Laurencia Grant, local native title holder Sabella Turner, John Liddle and Brian Forrester from Ingkintja and Baeden Williams from the Men’s Safety Program of Tangentyere Council, Ken Lechleitner (Congress and Live to Ride program), and Steven Satour (RUOK Ambassador).
