The new COVID safe app is a main part of the Australian Government’s response to tracking and containing outbreaks of the coronavirus.
To discuss the app Chris Fitzpatrick talks with Professor Robert Slonim from the School of Economics at the University of Sydney.
"There is a real urgency to getting a high percentage of Australians to download and register for the COVIDSafe app immediately. It will be much harder to encourage people to download the app later if only a small percentage downloads it initially."
