Stolen Gen Survivor explains intergenerational Impacts of Child Removal

Sorry Day, observed nationally on the 26th of May, remembers and acknowledges the mistreatment of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who were forcibly removed from their families and communities, and became known as The Stolen Generations.

CAAMA Radio spoke with Senior Arrernte and Anmatjere Woman Patricia Ansell Dodd, who is a historian, a former resident of the St. Marys Home and a member of the Stolen Generations. She speaks about what National Sorry Day means to her and how it affected her life and family.
