2020 NAIDOC Week in Mparntwe Alice Springs took place at the Town Council Lawns, were crowds gathered to watch First Nations bands perform on stage and to watch a virtual march.

The chair of the NAIDOC Committee, Catherine Satour, says that this years NAIDOC Week was nearly cancelled completely but the committee determined it was important to continue NAIDOC this year to remind ourselves of how strong we are.

The 2020 National NAIDOC Focus City was to be Mparntwe Alice Springs this year but was cancelled due to the Covid Pandemic, instead Alice Springs will be the focus city for 2021.
