Men's Health Week reveals mental health issues are still important

As part of Men’s Health Week (15th to 21st of June), mental health organizations in Alice Springs gathered in the Todd Mall to raise awareness of mental health issues and of local service availability.

The Australian Bureau of Statistics says In 2014, around 1.5 million Australian men aged 18 years and over had a self-reported mental or behavioural condition, were 2 times more likely to have substance use disorders and more than three times more likely to commit suicide than females.
