19th May 2020

The Northern Territory Primary Health Network (NT PHN) is a not-for-profit organisation funded by the Australian Government to commission services to meet local health needs and priorities in the Northern Territory and as people are finding it hard to access health services at the moment with COVID-19 restrictions in place – some practices are offering face-to-face consultations and other a combination of consultations over the phone with the Governments TeleHealth service and face-to-face.

CAAMA’s Damien Williams spoke with Dr Nicole Carter who has worked in the Northern Territory as a GP for the past 10 years who currently works as a GP in Darwin and as a Clinical Advisor to the NT Primary Health Network (NT PHN).

Dr Carter talked about how the NTPHN is working to get people the Health Services that they need.
