Clara Inkamala reflects on the importance of CAAMA Radio as it celebrates 40 years of broadcasting.

Clara Inkamala, a widely regarded artist and potter is a Western Arrarnta women who grew up at Ntaria (Hermannsburg) west of Alice Springs.

Forty years ago she played a significant role as a language broadcaster at what would go on to become an icon of global indigenous broadcasting.

Clara recently joined her daughter Natasha in the studio to share her memories and reflect on the ongoing importance of CAAMA RADIO and language broadcasting.
