Black Lives Matters - Alice Springs

Saturday, 6th of June the Alice Springs community held a protest over the death in custody of George Floyd, in support of Black Lives Matter. First Nations leaders came together to talk about Aboriginal deaths in custody and the overrepresentation of First Nations incarceration rates.

During the rally, Warlpiri man Ned Hargraves revealed to the Alice Springs community a painting that says, Yapaurlangu Warnkaru Matters, 'Black Live Matter' in Warlpiri.
