With most kids around the country heading back to school the NT Government is reminding Territory parents about payments which can help with the costs of returning to school.
The Back to School payment in the form of a voucher is available to students from pre-school through to year 12 in both government and non-government schools.
The vouchers can be used through the child’s school for items such as stationery, textbooks, or used for school excursions, camps and tuition fees.
The Northern Territory Minister for education Selena Uibo told CAAMA Radio that last year almost all of the eligible vouchers were claimed.
The Back to School payments must be redeemed by the end of Term 1 2020.
