An Alice Springs resident who has worked in health related areas across Central Australian since the 1970’s says he believes there is much  knowledge to be gained from working within Aboriginal communities.

Brycen Brook, Director of Nursing and Midwifery in the Primary Health Sector in Central Australia says working in health has been an eye opening experience especially living and working in remote Aboriginal communities.

A recipient of the NT administrator’s medal for lifetime achievement Mr Brooks says while working in health can be a challenge if you’re willing to learn you can gain a better understanding of Aboriginal peoples.
