Success and diversity of First Nations entrepreneurs on display

National platform will showcase success of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander startups.

Barayamal is a world leader in supporting Indigenous entrepreneurship and does so through a range of programs including the Barayamal Accelerator Program.

The program aims to provide education workshops, mentoring, access to networks and financial support to assist the development of up-and-coming businesses.

Following the completion of this program five Indigenous entrepreneurs will present their businesses during the Barayamal Demo Day & Awards on October 25th at the Victorian Innovation Hub in Melbourne.

The event is an opportunity to attract investors and showcase the talent and success of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Some of the businesses which will be showcased include one which uses AI technology to help Australians overcome barriers of seeing a dentist through the use of a smartphone. Another business is Binary Security, a Top End based Cyber Security Company.
