In NSW a Coroner has called for Aboriginal liaison officers to be available around the clock in public hospitals. The call for increased Aboriginal employment in hospitals follows the death of a pregnant Aboriginal woman who did not receive proper hospital care before she died.

A law firm is in Central Australia speaking with Aboriginal people about stolen wages. Consultations are occurring with people who have had their wages withheld.
