The Australian and Northern Territory governments were put on notice at the United Nations last week when 12-year- Dujuan Hoosan from Borroloola called on the UN Human Rights Council for them to “stop putting kids in jail”.

A new family and kinship model which aims to keep Aboriginal children and young people in out of home care connected to culture, family and community is being introduced in Alice Springs.

Down to Tasmania where Aboriginal people are accusing the Hodgman Liberal government of cultural genocide following the introduction of bill which will penalize usage of unofficial place names in the State.
