Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander volunteers wanted for projects in South Africa

The Australian Volunteers Program are looking for First Nations people to take up a five week volunteer assignment in South Africa. 

TheClassic Wallabies Indigenous Exchange, and people who want to take part can choose one of two projects that sees them work with school teams in either Johannesburg or Hoedspruit. 

The programs have a focus on community development where volunteers will help in building recycling stations or community school gardens. 

CAAMA’s Philippe Perez spoke to Adnyamathanha man Clinton Wilson about his involvement in the program last year (audio below).
