* The Aboriginal Flag has been raised on Mparntwe/Alice Springs' ANZAC Hill. It comes after a 30 years of discussions and debate by various Alice Springs Councillors.

* A celebration of strong Aboriginal women continues in Mparntwe/Alice Springs In line with the theme of NAIDOC Week, Because of Her We Can, with an event celebrating local senior women.

* The CEO of the Central Australian Aboriginal Congress Donna Ah Chee has been appointed as the chair of the newly established Child and Family Tripartite Forum, a key recommendation of the Royal Commission into the Protection and Detention of Children in the Northern Territory.
