WA roundtable to end homelessness has called on Government for more meaningful engagement to address the issue.

20th Jun 2016

Currently ten thousand Western Australians are homeless with nearly fifty percent of these Aboriginal people.

Coordinator of the First Nations Homelessness Project, Jennifer Kaeshagen says the round table highlighted the need for political parties to better engage with those currently experiencing homelessness.

Although the state Liberal Government was invited to the round table it was the Greens and Labor who provided their platform to address homelessness in Western Australia .
