Cultural diversity to play an important role, in the future delivery of a leading Australian University's curriculum.

As a part of future  degrees the University of Sydney has launched a four part cultural competency program, which will provide online tools, establish service learning hubs and prepare students by working with  first nations and culturally diverse communities.

Deputy Vice Chancellor and head of Indigenous Strategy and Services at the University of Sydney, Professor Shane Houston, says the program will create  new and lasting future engagement with Aboriginal communities across the country.

The changes will see the University become the first in Australia and possibly the world to incorporate cultural competence across all levels of the university.
