NT Housing Minister calls for an urgent review in the Territories town camps.

19th Apr 2016

A  call by the Northern Territory Minister for Housing for an urgent review of 43 Aboriginal town camps across the Territory has been criticised by a peak affordable housing lobby group.

With overcrowding and prolonged delays in housing repairs just two of the many issues faced by town camp residents living across the Northern Territory Minister for Housing, Bess Price says she has called an urgent review for all of the Territories town camps as a way to best improve housing issues.

But Sally Langton CEO of the Central Australian Affordable Housing Company disagrees and  says the time for reviews is over.
