Auditions for one of the nation’s leading dance and performing arts academies for First Nations people will be held online for the first time.
NAISDA will be holding auditions later this year for their 2022 class of performers and are now calling on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander performers from around the country to express their interest.
Graduates have gone on to perform for companies such as Bangarra Dance Company and Descendance.
Wiradjuri woman Maddie Paluch and recipient of NAISDA’s Class of 2019 Chairperson’s Excellence Award says that the auditions will mean people are kept safe from COVID.
