The  boss of the peak town camp  representative body in Alice Springs has used a family harmony day event  to send a powerful message to Government about the often negative impact of policies on his people .... and the need for greater community involvement in the decision making processes.

The  Tangentyere women’s family safety group says it has has been running a program for two years to help   deal   with   problems  town campers face on a daily basis .
