Viviana Petyarre received the NITV Spirit Award, presented at the Remote Indigenous Media Festival in Yirrkala, NE Arnhem Land.  This is a $30,000 prize that will sponsor Viviana to spend a 3 week attachment to various NITV departments in Sydney early next year, as well as funds to make a 15 minute Documentary for NITV – through CAAMA Productions.

Viviana is heading to New York in October to attend the Margaret Mead Film Festival where her half hour documentary, Petyarre is showing.
