A veteran Central Australian remote broadcaster has urged the Government to maintain funding to the community sector and says that when his people hear their language on radio it makes them feel proud to be Aboriginal.

Over to Qld where the first  Aboriginal woman to run a commercial cattle station has spoken of the strength that family provided in helping her  become successful.

To Western Australia  where an Aboriginal law graduate  has been appointed to a new role at Amnesty International. Tammy Salonec is a  a  Director of the  National Congress of Australia’s First Peoples and Executive assistant of NAIDOC in Perth. Her  new role will see her tackling  the rising levels of juvenile incarceration.
