Rob de Castella’s Indigenous Marathon Project has seen 15 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men and women from remote, regional and urban communities across the country run in the world’s most famous marathon… The New York City Marathon.
And now they are looking for young men and women to try out for the Marathon Project for 2012. Try-outs are happening right now across the country… including tomorrow, Tuesday the 20th of March 2012 in Alice Springs.

Sydney – Friday 17th March. Moore Park 09:00am. Cnr Lang and Robertson Road (car park on Robertson Rd.)
Gold Coast / Brisbane – Saturday 17th March. Runaway Bay Sports Super Centre – Cnr Sports Drive and Morala Avenue Runaway Bay. 09:00am
Cairns – Sunday 18th March. Esplanade, Cairns. Meeting at the playground Fun ship. 09:00am
Alice Springs – Tuesday 20th March. Meet at Crowne Plaza, Barrett Drive. 4:00pm
Darwin – Thursday 22nd March. East Point Reserve, Alec Fong Lim Drive. 09:00am
