In a recent trip north our RIBS Coordinator/Trainer Robyn Toi spent a few days in Elliot
Elliott … what a great place to visit, and who would of thought that bats could damage the power lines as they have. Fortunately the power breaks didn’t affect the work we could do at Gurungu Radio. Jason worked hard at learning all he needs to know about getting his program together, getting the studio and office sorted.
As you can see by the pictures there was great sights and scenery, but also great enthusiasm for getting Gurungu Radio up and running as soon as possible. It shouldn’t take long now to get the station up and running. … keep an eye out.
Don’t hesitate to call in and see Jason at the station, especially if you’re interested in helping out at the studio, many hands make light work. Of course, if you’re passing through and want to just say hello, pop into the studio in North Camp, at the end of the street … you can’t mis it
While in the Northern Region of the NT Robyn also called in to Batchelor to visit Rum Jungle …it was great, though the humidity was pretty fierce … the pic’s tell the story … great to meet Alan and the crew that produce such a great program for us each Friday afternoon from 2 to 4pm ……
