Liam “Jungarrayi” Jurrah’s new home with Melbourne Demons

27th Jan 2009

CAAMA sports reporter Matty Day caught up with Liam Jurrah at a training session at new Casey Fields facility in the Southern Suburbs. Liam was very happy and relaxed about his new home. The Demons coaching staff also acknowledge that Liam has fitted into being a professional footballer well so far. Liam has already made a strong friendships with fellow Indigenous players Aaron Davey, Austin Wonaeamirri and Matthew Whelan. Melbourne see Liam Jurrah as a “tall marking forward”. Lets hope Liam’s debut will be in 2009.
