How do you make boomerangs today while keeping law and culture strong?
Four senior traditional central desert men (tjilpi) who carry a lot of law create a ‘Number 7’ boomerang. We follow the hunt for the wood, the rubbing, the shaping, the smoothing and the ochre, noting the cultural significance of the work and implements, until the Number 7 is completed and singing.
