When Yuma and Kyanna meet up in the central Australian town of Alice Springs, they realise they could be long lost twins. They decide to trade places, with Kyanna heading to a beachside house in Sydney and Yuma trekking out to a remote Indigenous community. It’s supposed to be only for a night, but then things get tricky, and the fun starts …

Local DJ Kenny realises his job at the community radio station is about more than just playing music. Kenny jokes that his Green Bush show is broadcast to a ‘captive’ audience – namely the local prison. While taking requests from those on the inside and out, Kenny has to cope with the results of a wild night outside and learn his place in the circle of violence.
When Steve goes to pick up his Aunty so they can go to the football grand final, he encounters a problem… She only travels in one kind of car.
“You can pick your mates but you can’t pick your family.”
A story written and acted by young people. Snake Dreaming is a story passed on to the young by the elders. During the production of this short film, the elders imparted additional cultural knowledge to the children.
