PRIDoC 2012 comes to Alice Springs!

The Pacific Region Indigenous Doctors Congress (PRIDoC) have this year hosted their event in Alice Springs. This program is designed to help foster high standards of Medical care for Indigenous peoples. PRIDoC allows people to come together from all different regions around the World. This year Australia was greeted by medical practitioners, students, and health professionals from New Zealand, Canada, United States of America, Hawaii and Taiwan.

The 2012 theme is Connectedness; acknowledging the bonds Indigenous peoples share, and the significance of our connections to land and culture, to our health and well-being.

The CAAMA crew were at the Alice Springs Convention Center to check it out.
