Northern Territory Australian of the Year.. Alice Springs based alcohol reform campaigner Dr John Boffa says discriminatory policies which target a specific race group are never a step forward for public health….and should not be imposed by Government.
Dr Boffa…a veteran of alcohol management campaigns told CAAMA radio that during the initial stages of the NT Intervention there were significant discriminatory policies in the area of alcohol which were not helpful…. and the community is now moving away from this approach.
