Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Peoples Human Rights Continue To Lag Behind Other UN Countries

An association of Australian solicitors, academics, judicial officers and Australian students of human rights law say that on Australia's human rights record in regards to Indigenous human rights has not improved throughout 2018.

The Australian Lawyers For Human Rights (ALHR) released a report card for various key areas and found that Aborginal & Torres Strait Islanders rated on the F- scale - the worst in performed area in the association's assessment. 

ALHR's Indigenous Rights sub-committee co-chair & Kamilaroi woman Johanna Byrne spoke to CAAMA's Philippe Perez.
