Violin + Didge + Language = Eric Avery (Boomerang Festivals Most Unique Performer)

Eric Avery hails from the Blue Mountains, west of Sydney in NSW, and was a key performer at this years Boomerang festival - the First nations showcase held inside the Byron Bay Bluesfest. 

Eric captivated audiences when he performed his highly unique sound on the festival sand circle. A combination of heart-felt violin soaring above the low frequency drone of the yidaki (played by his father Graham) whilst singing in his language of the Ngampa people.
