Updates on Yulara helicopter crash injuring 4 people

Police have given an update in regards to a helicopter crash that occured 1-2kms west of Yulara at around 6pm on Wednesday night. The crash is believed to happened not too long after take-off. The helicopter was carrying four people.

Jody Nobbs, NT Police Superintendent of the Southern Desert Division told media that police, fire & medical assistance attended the scene swiftly. Two passengers have serious injuries which are not life threatening but will be treated in Adelaide. One passenger has been released from hospital, while another passenger is currently still in Alice Springs Hospital.

NT Worksafe & the Australian Transport Safety Bureau.are conducting investigations into the incident.
