The dangers of ice within regional & remote communities

10th Oct 2018

Campaigners against the usage of the drug methamphetamine, also known as ice, are warning that regional and remote communities are in danger of increased use.

Members of the Australian Anti Ice Campaign (AAIC) are set to visit the Far North Queensland town of Mareemba on Wednesday to conduct a forum on some of the effects of the drug in regional & remote communities.

AAIC Operations Manager Glenn Ivers & CEO Andre'a Simmons spoke to Philippe Perez about the issue and it's impact in regional & remote communities.
