South Australia’s First Commissioner for Children and Young People has recently heard about the value and importance of Aboriginal culture from while recently visiting the community of Ceduna.
Helen Connolly was appointed as South Australia’s first Commissioner for Children and Young People in April 2017.
The visit to Ceduna was part of her 2018 Hopes and Dreams Regional Tour.
The 10-month long tour through this year will see the Commissioner travel to 10 different regions in South Australia, where she will speak to children about their aspirations in order to help identify what her priorities should be.
