Santa Teresa Shines as Central Australian Skating Destination

The Central Australian aboriginal community of Ltyentye Apurte/Santa Teresa - located 85kms south-east of Alice Springs - hosted a team of interstate and international skateboarders over night!!

Eight Pro-Skateboarders including two international skaters representing PASSPORT Skateboards, enjoyed the locally built half-pipe, quarter pipes and other facilities with young local skaters from the community…   

The event is thanks to local Arrernte man Nick Hayes who since being a skater, has dreamt of having people come to his community to share culture and to skate.
