Last Sunday night at the historic Telegraph Station in Alice Springs, the 15th Annual Bush Bands Bash took place.
Aboriginal bands and performers from remote aboriginal communities in South Australia and the Northern Territory came together to perform to a crowd of thousands.
But one band in particular stood out that night with their impressive performance and strong message for all women. The all-female band from Manigrida – RIPPLE EFFECT!
Not long after their debut Central Australian performance Marita, Tara and Rachel joined CAAMA’s Teghan Hughes in the CAAMA broadcast truck to talk about what its like being a female musician on the road, the joys of making music and the amazing message they have for all women… and some good advice for our men too….
