Many Aboriginal voices have had a strong presence in the debate surrounding fracking in the Northern Territory. This despite accusations that there has not been enough notice for consultation meeting to talk about the issue with remote communities.
A vocal member in the debate has been Garawa man & owner of the Seven Emu Station in the Carpenteria Gulf, Frank Shadforth. He says the campaign against fracking should continue to stay strong.
