* The government have vowed to listen to Arrente people despite continuing to advocate for the ANZAC Hill precinct as the preferred site for the National Aboriginal Art Gallery. Many Arrente community members have recently vowed to campaign against the proposed site.
* Three out of 9 finalists have been selected from the central Australian region to be in the running for Australia’s Indigenous Governance Award.
* The only First Nations candidate in the upcoming Federal Wentworth by-election has called for a federal independent commission against corruption & called for a change to how political parties receive donations.
