Residents at the remote Aboriginal community of Mutitjulu, east of Uluru have welcomed the rebuild of new houses which will allow fostered children to return home to their families.

A national current affairs television  program has heard powerful messages from high school students discussing the value of teaching Aboriginal history in schools.

The Alice Springs Town Council has voted to form a partnership working group with the Northern Territory Gunner Government following its  own community poll  which showed 58% of just over 2000 residents do not support Anzac Oval being used as a site for the National Indigenous Art Gallery.
