22nd Feb 2018

An Aboriginal elder who features in a short film depicting the growing protests against the proposed Adani coalmine in Queensland is concerned that coal dust from Adani trains are potentially ruining sacred 3000 year-old rock art.

A short documentary, called A Mighty Force looks at the growing successes as well as challenges that the Stop Adani protest movement have encountered over the years.
The film, which was funded through donations, premieres at screenings around the country this week and investigates the negative environmental effects the Carmichael mine could have on the Great Barrier Reef.
