Young entrepreneurs going to the streets

18th Oct 2017

Students who attend St Philip’s College in Alice Springs are learning the intricacies of business through an entrepreneurship program run by the Foundation of Young Australians called $20 Boss, where students are provided $20 of start-up capital to create and then operate their venture.

Raymond Tilmouth & Anthony Drew are two indigenous students who took part in the program. They established the Street Ball Association from their $20.

Rather than a competition, the Association is aimed to get basketball players together & play in a relaxed environment. Raymond & Anthony were at the recent YamFest in Alice Springs where they were both talking about their project. They took some time out to also talk to CAAMA's Philippe Perez at the event in this audio.
