Hundreds came together in Central Australia to march against domestic and family violence.

On Tuesday Mbantua Alice Springs saw hundreds of women, men and children from across Australia coming together in solidarity, supporting local town camp women in the national conversation on domestic and family violence.

Tangentyere Family Safety Group co-ordinator and town camp resident Sherleen Campbell said the move to stop the violence is about making families stronger, healthy and happy.

CAAMA Radio spoke with a range of special guests such as domestic violence spokeswomen Rosie Batty and Federal MP for Lindsay Emma Husar.
