Human rights advocates in the Northern Territory were recently recognised at the 2017 NT Human Rights Awards Night at the Supreme Court in Darwin.

This year Central Australia’s Incite Arts won the Fitzgerald Diversity Award, for their contributions working with a diverse range of communities and community members in and around Alice Springs.

Incite Arts Community Cultural Development Manager Virginia Heydon says its official recognition of the organisations hard work.

Incite Arts provides a unique community service delivering a range of programs across multiple art-forms to young people, people with disability, Aboriginal communities as well as other diverse communities.
