Alice Springs celebrates NAIDOC

6th Jul 2017

NADIOC week is a celebration of the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, and is held annually every year during July. This years theme 'Our Languages Matter' focuses on the essential and unique role indigenous languages play in cultural identity.

On the 6th of July hundreds gathered on the town council lawns for the 2017 Alice Springs NAIDOC Community Day. The event saw a diverse range of service providers, performers and community members coming together.
