The AFLNT presented the CAFL 2016 CAAMA RADIO Minahan Medal Awards last night to a packed house and the GMan and the Caama crew brought you the night LIVE across the network from the Chifley Resort in Alice Springs.
This years medal went to young Abraham Ankers from the Federals.
The Miinahan Medal was named after the late Mona Minahan, a prominent local business woman who first donated the medal in 1947. In that year and 1948 the medal was awarded to the most ‘brilliant player in the competition as voted by the umpires’. From 1949 to 1981 this medal was voted on by the spectators but in 1982 till the present it has returned to being voted on by the umpires.
