It was all about healthy ears at Ceduna on the weekend, and the CAAMA Crew did an awesome 2-hour live broadcast on Saturday morning across the country, sharing important messages about how to keep kids ears healthy so they can get a good start in life.
We spoke to health professionals who shared some important messages with us about the importance of keeping ears healthy, and how to prevent ear disease – or Otitis Media.
We also had heaps of great ear health merchandise to give away to people at the Oyster Festival in Ceduna – informational booklets, kids activity books, Listen Up! Dvd’s, face washers, soaps and much more!
It was all part of the National Indigenous Ear Health Campaign, an initiative of the Australian Government. Strong Hearing, Strong Start!
